GREETINGS TO MY PRECIOUS FRIENDS AND FAMILY
The super heat is upon us and the much needed rains have been sporadic, but such a blessing for SW Florida. The grass and weeds are enjoying unlimited growth. Even the annoying miniature Rooster with his small brood of ladies has been crowing at various times from early morning and even into the mid-day as I write this letter. I think the Lord has a great sense of humor. I may be away from the villages in Mpumalanga, but he wants me to remember that my stay in Fort Myers is temporary.
Great news from the mission field.
The Lord spoke to a brother in my Sunday school class and he provided the funds to paint the children’s church in Matzulu. Recently a well has been provided on the church property from "Africa Oasis", one of the AGWM projects. PTL!!!!!!!!!!!!
The ministry to the orphans in Clau Clau is continuing and growing. This is where we have been able to feed 110 children over the past 4 years and have purchased property to build a community for them. The property is fenced in and electricity installed and the first building has been dedicated. To God be the glory!! The local AOG church has taken responsibility to supervise the project and a national pastor from a local Alliance church is now the spiritual supervisor of the children.
Challenges which need your prayers.
Mama Bukhiwe who birthed this project, is very sick in full blown AIDS. Please pray for her healing. God has used her over the years to feed, love and protect these children. The enemy is angry. She was the only warrior in the midst of this hell. Over the years we prayed together, marched around the project and claimed the children for Jesus.
In the midst of all our trials and difficulties, I want to encourage you!
The enemy will continue to come at God's people wherever they are in HIs Kingdom around the world. Yes, America is facing a man-made crisis, but God is not losing sleep or pacing the throne room wandering how he will solve this one. My God is faithful. Jesus reminds us in His word, "In this world you will have trouble, but take heart, I have overcome the world".
We are overcomers, by the blood of the lamb, and the word of our testimony.
BE AN ENCOURAGER TODAY! (I Thessalonians 11-18)
Let us build each other up. Live in peace.
Help the weak. Be patient.
Give thanks to Father. Pray continually.
